5) All photographs on this site are copyright protected. It is illegal to copy by any means whatsoever
either in part or whole, to sell, hire, or make available to any third party for the purpose of
financial gain, or transmit electronically or by any other means any photograph purchased from Photo
Image Productions (PIP) without prior permission. Breaking copyright law is punishable by fine and or
imprisonment.
6) Prints are sold on the understanding that larger sizes i.e. 30x20 prints may loose some sharpness when
viewed from close proximity. Posters of this size are meant to be viewed from a distance, from where they
will appear sharper. We always strive to use only the sharpest images but in some cases we allow
images which have motion blur which we think adds to the effect, or we may allow an image which we know
will not be 100% sharp when printed in a large size because we consider it to be a good or desirable
picture. Unfortunately it is not always possible to see motion blur on the small pictures on the site so
we ask you to bear this in mind when you receive your prints. Even the sharpest prints will loose
some definition when blown to this size unless taken with a large format camera. Because all the
pictures on this site are taken with 35mm or the equivalent digital size some definition will be
lost as the size increases. However, we try to make sure all photographs are as sharp as possible.
All photographs on this site are available for use in magazine articles, editorial, advertising, web
design or any other professional use only when permission has been granted in writing after the
negotiation of fees.
